Did you know that using dirty clipper blades and scissors can create a greater risk of a post-clipping bacterial infection, technically named post-grooming Bacterial Folliculitis- Furunculosis? In short, this means that when you clip a dog, you expose its hair follicles to bacteria so there is a greater risk of infection. This is increased when using dirty clipper blades. This is why we developed our sanitiser. It is a quick, very easy way of sanitising blades between dogs. A quick spray with this efficiently kills the bacteria on your blades. Just spray, leave for 30 seconds, dry thoroughly and re-oil with your Kojiro Clipper Oil.
Most traditional blade sanitiser is 'Naptha' (paint thinner) or alcohol based and obviously carries a number of risks including skin reactions, toxicity and flammability. That's why we chose the natural route of formulating a non-toxic, non-flammable, hypoallergenic yet still highly effective product.
